Canine T’s & C’s
1. It is the law that all dogs must have ID containing the owners name and address. All dogs must be micro chipped.
2. Dogs will be transported in separate dog crates or in a secured harness with a physical barrier between them and other dogs in transport at all times, unless the dogs are from the same house-hold in which case they are allowed to share a space.
3. Dogs will be transported to a suitable location for the walk depending on the needs of the group, if your dog requires specialist care please contact us to arrange a solo walk.
4. Collection time may vary by 1hour, depending on the daily circumstances. Group walk times may vary by 15mins and do not including travel time. In exceptional circumstances walks may be interrupted or shortened at the walkers discretion including but not limited to; extreme weather, illness or injury of any of the dogs in the group, injury of the walker, attempted theft. You will be notified ASAP if this occurs.
5. Overnight stays include evening short walk/overnight/morning full walk/lunchtime let out as a mini-mum. We are happy to tailor packages to suit your dogs requirements.
6. If preferred walk time is not available we will use the closest proximity unless specifically stated by you. Walk time may also change in the event of low booking numbers to create a single groupwalk.
7. Owners agree to notify 4 paws pet care if their dog exhibits any unusual behaviours including aggression, and most importantly immediately inform 4 paws pet care if your dog exhibits any illness including but not limited to; cough, flea, worms, diarrhoea, vomiting.
8. Owners will not book their dog in for group walks until 3 days after having the nasal KC vaccination, including boosters.
9. 4 paws pet care do not insist on vaccinations or neutering, we understand they are not suitable for all dogs. Please notify us if your bitch is in season and we will reschedule accordingly, 4 paws pet care is not responsible for any unwanted mating.
10. Owners accept responsibility and agree to reimburse 4 paws pet care for any charges for emergency veterinary care their pet receives.
11. Owners agree that 4 paws pet care is not responsible for any damage to the clients property caused by the clients pet.
12. Owners agree to reimburse 4 paws pet care for additional feed in the event of usage, loss or dam-age of feed provided.
13. 4 paws pet care is fully insured for public liability, professional indemnity, loss of keys. Pet taxi, loss or injury to your pet caused by negligence. We advise that you have insurance for accidental injury and agree to provide 50% of your excess on your insurance costs incurred.
14. We pride ourselves in flexibility, allowing short notice booking and cancellations without fees, however if we have reached the property before replying to the cancellation then Owner is still li-able for that charge.
15. Payment is expected upon booking for that week in advance to secure your space, if then any pre-paid services are not required, monies can be either rolled over or a refund will be given
Feline/ Small Animal T’s & C’s
1. It is the law that all cats must have a microchip from May 2022.
2. If we need to transport your cat we will use a carrier or crate.
3. You cat will be cared for in the manner stated on the form, please make sure this is correct and up to date.
4. We aim to keep as best we can to your pets routine times, if your pet needs exact times then we rec- ommend the use of timer feeders for our visits. AM visits are before 10am, PM visits are between 4 and 8pm. If we are unable to reach your pet we will send another member of the team, call you, and your emergency contact.
5. Please state how long the duration of visit you would like as we are now offering pop ins. We do not force interaction if the cats hide/are shy, therefore we will leave before the allotted time is up if this happens.

14. Failsafe plan to be followed by all clients leaving for over 24h 1. Make the booking and receive confirmation your dates have been booked and make payment 2. Send a message when you leave the animals and receive reply 3. Receive updates on your pets at the specified times, REPORT to us if you haven’t received message. 4. Confirm you have returned safely. If you are delayed let us know and we will extend visits.

Access to your personal data is password protected and held in PDF format in encrypted cloud-based software and paper copies secured in a locked cabinet. Current contractors will have access to the information provided by yourself to allow for excellent service, this will be terminated if4 paws no longer require their services. Temporary con-tractors will have single file access only, with your permission. The systems used for processing and storing your data are password protected and encrypted (please see their own privacy statements by using the links below Any keys used to access properties are labelled in a coded manner without any personal information. How long will we keep your personal data? Whenever we collect or process your personal data, we’ll only keep it for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. At the end of that retention period, your data will either be destroyed and deleted completely or anonymised, for example by aggregation with other data so that it can be used in a non-identifiable way for statistical analysis and business planning.
