Amy set up 4paws after graduating from Uni with a BSc Hons in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. Now she focuses on running the business and takes on behaviour cases, general training classes and Agility dog sport sessions. Her positive outlook and holistic approach for the welfare of the animal takes the lead in all cases, as she goes out of her way to help in any way she can.
John Kent
Walking, Sitting, Welfare Visits
John joined the team at 4 paws in 2018 when Amy stepped back to have a baby. Everyone loved him so much he decided to stay! Since then johns been top dog on our group walks, (plus the odd tricky solo), he's visited snakes, cats and chickens, and he and Nina do the majority of our overnight pet sitting. Always a busy guy with a smile on his face and shorts on haha!
Bethan Stewart
Group Walking, Eden Walks
Beth is our hard core groupee, doing our group walk doggos. Everyone loves her hilarious video pupdates commentary on her group walks. She's vegan and loves all breeds but especially the bullies. She has experience working in re-homing kennels where she found her Bruno (RIP) and her tripod Scamp. Very open and honest and easy to talk to plus the dogs adore her! She also has a - not so secret - obsession with house plants!
Nina Kent
Group Walking, Welfare Visits, Sitting
Nina helps out with group walks, house sitting, and welfare visits. She takes the time to really get to know your pets and help them settle whilst you are away. She enjoys relaxing with our feline clients and has a pure white cat, Casper, at home. She is also our expert in tortoises! She's super clean and tidy so always leaves the place gleaming! She has a passion for interior design and regularly updates her home decor.
Timothy Johnson
Group Walking, Welfare Visits, Sitting
Tim has a real passion for working with all dogs, especially those with quirks. He joined the team when Kim retired Easter 2025, he's been a real hit with our regulars, and hasn't looked back since! 'Mothy does our group walks, welfare visits and some sitting. He has two primary school age sons, who take up his spare time playing footie and want to be dog walkers when they grow up - watch this space!
Claire Solomon
Puppies, Solo & Group Walking, Welfare Visits, Sitting, Daxi Group
Claire is our newest recruit, she came to 4paws after being a previous client with her rescue Poppy. She has a really varied role - is in charge of all our puppy clients before they join our group walks, as well as taking on solo walks, day sits, and overnight sits. We have also recently set up a breed specific Dachshund Dalliance walk which Claire heads up. She says she's "a hippy at heart" and enjoys all things nature - plants, wildlife, walking, yoga, cooking and obviously DOGS!
Jack Warrington
Trainer
Jack started off shadowing Amy on training sessions and is now fully qualified for teaching with the IMDT. He takes our 'Puppy' and 'Pup Start' group classes, and occasionally covers 'Foundations'. He has really grown in confidence and his helpful, approachable attitude makes him a great teacher for both humans, and the dogs. He also offers private sessions via his own company - St.Austell Dog Care https://www.staustelldogcare.co.uk/
Bex Vinton
